Zimpost is the name under which Zimbabwe Posts (Pvt) Limited
operates. Zimpost is responsible for operating the postal service in
Zimbabwe. It is a private company wholly owned by the
Government of Zimbabwe. Prior to 2000, the Post and
Telecommunications Corporation (PTC) was the government agency responsible for
posts and telecommunications within the country, falling under the Ministry of
Information. The PTC was formed on 01 July 1970. Prior to the
establishment of the PTC, the post office was vested in the central government
as the Ministry of Posts.

Zimpost flag (2018 - )
Following its corporate reorganisation
in 2019, Zimpost adopted a new corporate identity and logo. The logo
comprises a moving envelope on a stamp with the company name below. The
new logo is forms the basis of the Zimpost flag which is flown at all post
offices alongside the Zimbabwe national flag.

Post and Telecommunications Corporation flag (1990 - 2018)

In 2000 the Posts and Telecommunications Corporation adopted
a new logo and flag. The flag was based on the logo and was retained after
2000 when the PTC became Zimbabwe Posts (Pvt) Limited.

Posts and Telecommunications Corporation flag (1970 - 1990)

The Posts and Telecommunications Corporation (PTC) was formed on 01 July 1970 and was responsible for the provision of all post and telecommunications services in what was then Rhodesia. It was created by an Act of Parliament and replaced the Ministry of Posts.
It had a plain white flag defaced in
the centre with its acronym in red capital letters. This flag flew
alongside the Rhodesian national flag at all post
office throughout the country.
