Pasadena is known to have a former flag. It was adopted by Resolution 91-12 on
January 29, 1991. The proposal was submitted by city attorney Lee Clark one week
before. On a white field, to the left of the flag the San Jacinto obelisk is
depicted in gold, to the right of the seal, a green NASA spaceship recognizing
the nearby Johnson Space Center, and seven golden stars for its seven council
districts. In the center is the former city logo, which depicts an oil refinery.
The resolution adopting the flag has an image titled
Exhibit A approved
by the city, however, I was not able to adequately draw this especially since
the digital image is not complete, so I instead based my drawing of the flag on
one I have in my collection.
