A new logo was introduced in 2017 in honor of the 250th anniversary of Redding’s incorporation.
In the logo, a Charter Oak is flanked by the old town hall and Congregational Church, which have become signatures of the town center.

This seal, designed for the town bicentennial and used in its letterhead, features town founder John Read and Chicken Warrups, the Native American who deeded him the original land.
