Presentation

The Medvedivs'ka Community is one of 26 communities in Cherkas'kyy County. It has 9 populated places.
The Community was created in 2018, and enlarged in 2020. It has about 208 km² with about 3700 inhabitants. The administrative seat is the Village of Medvedivka.
The Community hasn't adopted its own symbols, yet, as far as I know (In such cases usually the symbols of the administrative seat are in use, until the distinct symbols are adopted).

Village of Medvedivka

There is confusion about the current symbols of the village. According to Ukrainian Heraldry, the shield has a black letter "M", and the flag has one blue and one yellow stripe.
But the other sources, including the author Andriy Grechilo, are talking about the shield with a blue letter "M", and the flag with both stripes in blue. Here are presented both versions:

Former Coat of Arms (1792–1998)

The first coat of arms of then the town of Danilovka was granted on 30.3.1792. At the end of the charter, an image and description of the coat of arms is given: "... the ancient coat of arms, long used, is being updated, that is: a bow with an arrow stretched above them, the letter 'M'." In the color drawing in the charter, the field is white, the bow is brown, tied with red ribbons, and the letter "M" is not depicted at all.
