Coat of arms

Shield Argent, a fess wavy Azure between two barrulets wavy Azure, in base a fox passant Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "S. MARTINHO DE SARDOURA".
Meaning:
The waves are representing local rivers, being borders of the commune. The fox is allding to a very old event called "fox hunting", in fact some kind of carnival with a sexual constituent

São Martinho de Sardoura Commune is one of the six communes of Castelo de Paiva Municipality; it had 1931 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 4.3 km².
