The village emblem was adopted on Apr 1st 1983 by Notice No 16 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a green village emblem in the center. The village emblem is a stylized katakana イエ Ie. The circle stands for the villagers concord, the hoe plowing fields for an image of working villagers and the wings for the villages unlimited exponential development.
