The Flag

The flag of the village of Higashichichibu is white with mark.

The village emblem was adopted on Sep 1st 1967 by Notice No 12 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a red village emblem in the center. The village emblem is a stylized hiragana ひ HI of Higashichichibu in a form of a bird flying to the future. It represents an image of the village which is developing.
