The Flag

The flag of the city of Joso is white with mark.

The city emblem was adopted on Jan 1st 2006 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a green and a blue two color city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized hiragana じ Jo of Joso. It represents an image of the city harmonized with nature and an abundant nature, a fertile land, fresh streams, a vigorous future and spiritually affluent life.

Mitsukaido City / 水海道市

The flag of the former city of Mitsukaido was blue with mark. The city changed name in 2006 to Joso.
