The Israeli intelligence community (Hebrew: קהילת המודיעין הישראלית)
is made up of Aman (military intelligence), Mossad
(foreign intelligence) and Shin Bet (domestic intelligence).

Research Department: The main all-source intelligence-assessment Unit of Aman
Control Department of Aman
The Intelligence Units of the four Regional Commands (Central, Northern,
Southern, Home Front all of which are Aman Units)
Air Intelligence Directorate: The intelligence unit of the Israeli Air Force
Field Intelligence Force (renamed Combat Intelligence Collection Corps,
which is the intelligence Unit of the Land Forces)
Sayeret Matkal (סיירת מטכ"ל):
The IDF's premier special-forces unit, directly subordinate to Aman

The organization responsible for bringing Jews from Soviet Bloc countries,
a later manifestation of the Mossad Le'aliyah Bet. Following the dissolution of the Soviet Union in
the 1990s, it moved out of the intelligence community and became a Department within the
Prime Minister's office.
Science Relations Bureau (הלשכה לקשרי מדע, Lekem)
(19571981): The agency responsible for obtaining and securing secret nuclear technology. It was
dissolved in 1986.
