"The Saltees Flag
consists of three colours, black and red divided by a white bend sinister. There
are seven stars on the flag. Each star represents Prince Michael and Princess
Anne's children. The black star represents a child that died at birth. These
stars are replaced by jewels in the Crown on the Family Crest."

From Wikipedia:
"The Saltee Islands (Irish: Na Sailtí) are a pair of small
islands lying 5 kilometres off the southern coast of County Wexford in Ireland.
The two islands are Great Saltee (89 hectares) and Little Saltee (40 hectares).
They have been uninhabited since the early 20th century and privately owned by
the Neale family since 1943."

The bend sinister is a quadrangular bend, running from the lower fly to the
upper hoist, its sides meeting the flag edges only at top and bottom. It could
be added that these stars, all the same size, are set as one black, upright star
set on the middle of the flag within the white bend, three white, upright stars
set in two rows, offset to the hoist, and three white stars, pointing downwards,
set in two rows, offset to the fly.
