Carsten Rehder G.m.b.H. & Co.

based in Hamburg - white flag with two narrow red horizontal stripes; on centre black rhombus, white "CR" (see left image above).
The rhombus of the variant (see right image above) is less wide and its tangent to the red stripes, which in turn are closer, yielding a central white stripe that is 1/3rd of the height.

It is illustrated, though, on top of the page — I should have seen that! However, Jarig’s rhombus has visible symmetry issues so here’s an image replacement for [images/d/de~reca-cr.gif] attached as [de~reca.gif]: I just replicated the lower hoist quadrant into the other three, and then centered he text. (I presume that the lack of symmetry is not present in [lgr95], but, if it is, then please disregard this new image.)

It is a white over red horizontal bicolour with a black, serifed inscription "RuK". This pattern, also the ring of the black company funnel, was only used for two fishery vessels KEHDINGEN and DITHMARSCHEN.

Carsten Rehder & L. Müller

It is a white flag divided by two thin, red, horizontal stripes. Between the stripes is a black lozenge containing a white inscription "R & M". The flag pattern is also the ring on the black company funnel. That's the usual Carsten Rehder houseflag with different inscription.

This Haren based company has a white flag with thin red stripes at the top and bottom edges. In the white field is a celestial blue inscription in italic capitals "ARKON". Below the inscription is a wave of the same colour.

(editorial note: this late 19th century company probably has nothing to do with Carsten Rehder companies; kms)
