The ratio of flag is 3:5. It is a blue over white horizontal bicolour with the coat of arms in the centre of the flag.

Description of coat of arms:
In a silver (=white) shield is a blue gate, having two towers with red triangular roofs. The whole ensemble has pinnacles and white horizontal seams. There are also three black embrasures on each side. The gate is
fully superimposed by a silver (=white) shield, showing a blue lion between three green trees, seizing one tree with his right claw. It is a rampant, double queued lion, red armed and tongued.
The coat of arms is also described in Hauptsatzung §2(1).

The ratio is given as 1:2. It was a blue over white over green horizontal tricolour. The information is confirmed by Stadler 1970, p.77.
