Shield Gules parted by a barrulet wavy Argent, in chief a 6-spokes wheel Argent, in base a lion passant double queued Or crowned Azure, base Argent dancetty.
Meaning:
The barrulet wavy is representing the Kahl creek, which divided Großblankenbach and Kleinblankenbach. The municipality's name means shiny creek. The barrulet might thus be canting. The Kahl had also been the border between the Archbishopric of Mainz, represented by the wheel, and the Counts of Schönborn, represented by the lion.
